Haircuts and Wish Lists

Time for the first haircut.  Bittersweet moment for Mama and a scary moment for the boy.  But, it had to happen sooner or later.  Then came the first Santa visit, and maybe the last, lol.  Our little guy wasn't too impressed with the big guy in the red suit.

Fall is Here

We had family pictures taken once again.  We just want to capture every moment!  Our little love grows and changes from day to day.  It's such a miracle to watch him.  He makes everything seem so exciting and new.  We love seeing the world through his eyes.

Fall is a favorite time of year for all of us.  We loved going to the pumpkin patch this year and trick or treating at the zoo.

Scrunchy Face

This little guy makes the cutest faces!  Everyone loves "scrunchy face".  He is so sweet and our families and friends can't get enough of him.

Making it Official!

We officially became a family in the eyes of the law!  But, as one of our friends said, we were a family from the day we met.  Look at our boy sitting up so big in the high chair at our lunch celebration!  This was his first time in a high chair and he was so proud.  

This little guy loves the water whether it's bath time or time to splash in the pool outside!

This is a favorite picture of ours.  It just shows the joy that we feel as parents and the joy that our boy feels, as well.  We thank God that He brought us together.

Family Photo Time

This boy...

Our little guy is just abounding joy in a little bitty body.  He finds excitement in every thing and just loves life.  His smiles are contagious.  We already have a hard time recalling what life was like before he came along.  It definitely wasn't nearly as amazing.

Firsts...

Our little guy rolled from his belly to his back this month!  We sent the video to his birthmom and grandmother.  They were so proud of him.  

He is growing and changing so quickly, but the smiles never stop!

Valentines Day, Daycare, Bathtime and Adoption Love

This baby is such a miracle.  We haven't felt such joy in years.  Infertility is so painful.  But, adoption is beautiful.  We are so thankful to our son's birthmother for the self-less decision she made.  

Emily was able to celebrate her first birthday as a mom.  You can tell how exhausted she is by her eyes and hair.  But, she wouldn't want it any other way.

This exhaustion is the best kind.  

Our sweet friends were matched with their daughter!  It is amazing, the relationships that you make and the lasting friendships that are created through the miracle of adoption.  

Hopefully, our children will be close friends for years to come.

We celebrated Valentine's Day with our little Valentine.  He is pure joy.  We absolutely love taking pictures of him.  He smiles all the time.

The smiles could be because he is loved beyond measure :)

Mama could hardly stand it when it was time to return to work.  But, our boy is so social, he needs to be around other kiddos.
