Winter Fun!

Winter is so much fun at our new home!  We have a HUGE hill for sledding, beautiful snowy scenary for photos, and lots of space for building snowmen, making snow angels and building forts.  

Our sweetie had a lot of firsts this winter:  first time sledding, first time tasting snow cream, first time making snow angels...

He loves the snow!

 

Christmas!

We tried for a second Santa visit, but it went about as well as the first. :)  Our big guy just isn't a fan.  But, he does love Christmas!

Ryan gave Emily a beautiful necklace with the symbol for adoption.  He also purchased the Adoption plaque.  We love these words.

TWO?!?

We can't believe the little guy is two already!!  What an amazing and blessed two years it has been!  

Brrrr....

         

We went Trick or Treating at the zoo with friends and family.  Our little guy was the cutest Mr. Potato Head ever!  He even had his picture taken with the crew from Toy Story!

We were a little afraid to carve a pumpkin.  Our sweet, tender hearted boy would hug every pumpkin he passed.  It was so adorable and we were afraid of how we would react if we carved one.  But, he had a lot of fun cleaning out the insides and watching daddy carve the face.

There are a lot of trees on the property so there are a lot of leaves to jump and play in!  The weather was a little wild this month.  One day we were playing in the leaves and, the next day, we were playing in the snow!  A LOT of snow!!!

Pumpkin Patch

 

 We had so much fun at the pumpkin patch this year - climbing haystacks, going on a hay ride, and hugging every pumpkin we saw!

Dream Home!

We finally found our dream home after a few months of watching the realty channel and combing through the ads!  It has five and a half acres and three beds with two and a half baths.  There is so much room for our sweet, active boy to run around outside and explore.  This was our main reason for moving to the country.  He needs to be able to go outside and discover new things.  We've already seen lots of deer and hummingbirds.  We know we're going to love it here!!

Big Changes

 We moved from our first home together this summer.  It was such a tough move for mama.  There are too many memories tied to this home.  But, we were quickly out growing our little house.  We moved into a condo to give us time to look for our dream home.
