 His first kite flying experience was so much fun!  He caught the hang of it pretty quickly!

Snowy Days and Homework

 

Our boy absolutely loves being outside, even in the cold!  He always has so much fun in the snow - sledding, making snow angels, and building snowmen.  He also loves doing homework!  

Merry Christmas!

We love our town, but especially during Christmas!  Music fills the air and every store front is decorated.   The huge Christmas tree is lit.  Children can meet Santa and listen to the Polar Express while drinking hot cocoa on the dinner train.  The Christmas parade is always exciting.  Candy and toys are tossed to the children and local school bands march and play for the crowd.  This year, our big guy experienced his first Christmas downtown.  He loved it and we all had so much fun!

 

Three!!

We can not believe this boy is three years old!  Time just flies sometimes.  He is so much fun and so full of personality.

Fall!

We love this weather!  We've already found ways to enjoy the new season.  We went to the Fall Festival in a small town nearby and went to Aviation Day at the local airport.  We also have had lots of fun at home.  We've collected a huge pile of walnuts, acorns and other treasures from the yard.  We share the walnuts with the neighbors who like to dry and eat them.  We've also already made a batch of yummy Halloween cookies (our boy couldn't wait until the end of the month).  And, we had so much fun building a scarecrow as part of a family project assignment from the little guy's school.  

 

Ready to Expand!

Back to School!

                         

It's back to school time for our big guy!  He absolutely loves his school and so do we!  His teachers are amazing and he has made so many good friends there.  He's known these kiddos since he was a few months old.  His teachers say that he is well behaved at school and loved by his friends.  They send us pictures from time to time to let us know how he's doing.
