Fall!

 

Our big guy wanted to plant a
tree where one had died

We had so much fun this October!  We went to several fall festivals, spent a weekend get-away at Great Wolf Lodge, went Trick or Treating at the zoo, with friends, and at a church party.  We carved pumpkins, went to Bernheim Forest and even planted a new tree!  We love this time of year.

Back to School!

We visited with Nana and Mimi one last time before our summer break came to an end.  But, our boy was ready to see his friends and teachers again.  He loves school, thank goodness!

Summer, Summer, Summer Time!

   

Date Night!!! A good friend graciously offered to play with our boy for the evening while we enjoyed dinner out.  (She was sweet to send us updates of the fun they were having while we were away :)  We celebrated Ryan's birthday with a yummy meal, but celebrated again with our big guy.  He loves to sing Happy Birthday, now, and is always willing to help blow out the candles or make sure the icing tastes just right. :)

We also spent a lot of time with friends this month.  We traveled to visit good friends who we haven't seen in months.  We also spent lots of sunny days with friends at the park and aquatic center nearby.

Summer Fun!

We've had such a fun summer so far!  Legoland was a blast for everyone!                                                                                                                  We also went to the beach for the first time as a family.  Our big guy loved it!!  It was a long drive to South Carolina, but he was a trouper.  We stayed in a villa right on the beach and spent nearly every day there.  He didn't want to leave and called it our 'beach home.' :)
